Lycra, also known as spandex or elastane, is a synthetic fiber widely used in swimwear for its exceptional elasticity & durability. It provides a snug, comfortable fit, resists wear and chlorine damage, dries quickly, and retains vibrant colors. Lycra swimwear is smooth, enhancing performance by reducing water friction. Commonly blended with nylon or polyester, it balances stretch & support. Proper care includes rinsing after use, gentle washing, and air drying to maintain its properties. Suitable for both competitive and fashion swimwear, Lycra ensures flexibility, support, and long-lasting quality.
