Classic plain matte nylon elastane with 4-way stretch. Ideal for leotards, leggings and dance costumes in a clean, understated finish.
Matte lycra, also known as 'nylon lycra' or 'spandex' is a premium quality 4 way stretch fabric. It's made from a super strong and durable fibre called polyamide that is knitted with a high percentage of elastane for the ultimate stretch in all directions. It’s got a beautifully soft, but strong handle with excellent recovery making it the ideal fabric for high performance garments such as swim-wear, dance-wear, active-wear and luxury fashion. Matte Lycra has a solid finish giving the colour a beautifully crisp and pigmented appearance. Made from 80% Polyamide (Nylon), 20% Elastane (Lycra).
Available in over 40 colours, including UV neons, pastels and nude/natural shades. Special colours can be requested. Matching shades are also available in our Power Mesh. This fabric is also available in a shiny version- search for the code Q54. Oeko- Tex Standard 100 and TÜV Rheinland certified.
