Shiny Nylon Lycra 4 Way Stretch Dressmaking Fabric Q54H

Shiny lycra, also known as 'nylon lycra' or 'spandex' is a premium quality 4 way stretch fabric. It's made from a super strong and durable fibre called polyamide that is knitted with a high percentage of elastane for the ultimate stretch. The shiny or sparkly surface gives the fabric a beautiful iridescent glow, especially under certain lighting. This fabric is commonly used for swimwear as it's waterproof but it's also ideal for dancewear, activewear and fashion garments. Oeko- Tex Standard 100 and TÜV Rheinland certified. Please note that the 'Q54H' quality is the perfect weight for dressmaking due it's slightly lighter handle and beautiful drape. For a heavier weight quality, please search for Q54.
